Job summary

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles medical data, including health history and examination results.
• Diagnoses skin diseases, orders or administers diagnostic tests, and interprets results.
• Treats skin conditions, injuries, malignancies, infections and related conditions.
• Performs injections and other appropriate therapeutic procedures.
• Assists physicians in surgical procedures and performs excisions and wound care.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and records progress notes.
• Instructs patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Prescribes and administers medications under physician supervision and regulatory guidelines.
• Adheres to safety policies and supports high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Performs other duties as necessary for the organization.
