Job summary

Southeast Community Health Systems seeks a Dermatology-certified Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary healthcare, health maintenance, and disease prevention under physician supervision. Required are a Master’s NP degree and current Louisiana APRN license with dermatology certification; BLS/ACLS and DEA/CDS where applicable are needed, along with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with current licensure in Louisiana (or compact state).
• Certification in dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare and disease prevention within scope of practice.
• Perform physical exams from neonate to geriatric population.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests where appropriate.
• Prescribe medications per licensing rules.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
