Job summary

Elite Dermatology seeks an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team. You will see several patients daily, review medical histories, and perform or order tests to pinpoint root issues. You will diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, and offer lifestyle guidance to prevent recurrence.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient-focused, able to handle multiple patients per day, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to legally practice medicine within the state of New Mexico.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to read and interpret test results, while effectively communicating those to a patient.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome each patient, making them feel comfortable in a normally uncomfortable situation.
• Order tests and interpret the results, providing clarity to the patient.
• Diagnose and treat patient issues, which may include minor skin surgery, prescribing medication, or offering lifestyle changes.
• Maintain excellent records of patient interactions, medical issues, and treatment solutions.
