Job description

Responsibilities

Provide dermatology and plastic surgery care under the direct supervision of a board‑certified dermatologist.

• Lead and manage a dedicated team of medical assistants and support staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensure timely and compassionate patient communication: accessible by cell phone, same‑day responses to patient requests, and same‑day scheduling when requested by a referring provider.
• Provide clinical services to patients, including those covered by Medicaid, and contribute to expansion of office locations in underserved areas.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and professional excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience as a medical provider, with at least 3 years practicing medical dermatology under the direct supervision of a board‑certified dermatologist.
• Excellent references from prior supervising physician(s).
• Active medical license in Colorado and valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant credentials.
• Demonstrated leadership, commitment to patient care, and alignment with humility, integrity, and excellence.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is comprised of a guaranteed base salary and a productivity bonus. The compensation range is $143,000 to $200,000+. Additional benefits include medical benefits, 401(k), paid time off, malpractice coverage, CME, and other benefits in accordance with Vanguard’s benefits policy.
