Job summary

The MedServ Group in Georgia is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for part-time coverage. You will perform exams, manage patient histories, and develop care plans for elderly patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

The role includes ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, and coordinating with physicians to deliver high-quality care. Requirements include NP license and dermatology experience, with BCLS/ACLS validity.

Qualifications

• Must have an active NP license and dermatology specialization.
• Experience delivering care to elderly residents in SNFs is preferred.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and compassionate communication.
• Capable of coordinating with physicians and colleagues for care plans.
• Basic to advanced life support credentials (BCLS/ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment, as needed.
• Diagnosing health issues and sharing it with the physician on call.
• Administering medicine and other treatments.
