Job summary

New England Dermatology Associates in Vernon, CT seeks a Dermatology NP/PA to join a collaborative practice. You will evaluate and treat medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology conditions, while building a patient panel and seeing up to 30 patients per day as volume grows.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility for practice in Connecticut.
• Dermatology experience required; comfortable managing dermatology patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a busy, productive practice and gradually build a strong patient schedule.
• Experience performing dermatology procedures such as skin exams, biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and related in-office treatments preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, efficiency, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Interest in joining an established practice with a collaborative team environment and strong patient demand.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical, surgical, and general dermatologic conditions.
• Independently manage a busy dermatology schedule with the ability to see up to 30 patients per day as volume builds.
• Perform skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures within scope of practice and experience.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on prevention, treatment options, and ongoing skin health.
• Build and maintain patient volume through high-quality care, efficient clinic flow, and patient-centered service.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members to ensure an excellent patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with practice and compliance standards.
