Job summary

Integrated Dermatology of Waterbury is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy dermatology practice. The full-time role is primarily based in the Southbury office, treating up to 30 patients daily with a collaborative team in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate is a clinically confident dermatology PA/NP, able to manage a wide range of conditions and perform procedures within scope.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut PA or APRN license, or ability to obtain licensure.
• Dermatology experience required; general dermatology experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a busy, productive clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach to care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians and the broader care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dermatology care for new and established patients.
• Diagnose and manage common and complex dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, lesions, and skin cancer concerns.
• Perform appropriate dermatologic procedures within scope of practice and experience.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, prevention, skin health, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support a positive patient experience.
