Job summary
The MedServ Group is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team part-time in Georgia. You will perform exams, document histories, and contribute to care plans for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and communicating with physicians. A license as NP required, dermatology experience preferred, and BCLS/ACLS and DEA are required.
Qualifications
- Must hold a CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner license.
- Graduate of a state-registered NP program or NP certification in Dermatology.
- Experience in dermatology in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
- MD/DO or NP with dermatology specialization from an approved university.
- Experience applying diagnostic techniques to guide treatment.
- Ability to work with a diverse staff and patient base.
Responsibilities
- Performing physical exams and patient observations.
- Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
- Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
- Monitoring medical equipment as needed.
- Diagnosing health issues and communicating with the physician on call.
- Administering medicines and other treatments.
