Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the Pacific Northwest to serve as a medical and scientific resource for dermatology. Qualifications

  • Terminal degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP); other degree considered with strong relevant clinical experience.
  • Prior experience in Field Medical, Medical Affairs, or Clinical R&D.
  • Strong knowledge of Dermatology or Immunology and clinical research.
  • Willingness to travel approximately ~70% of the time and reside within 45 minutes of a major U.S. airport.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical environment and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to develop and execute a territory clinical plan with independence and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a field-based scientific and clinical resource for LEO Pharma North America Medical Affairs.
  • Engage academic and community KOLs and investigators to support scientific exchange.
  • Develop understanding of territory healthcare systems, care pathways, and research interests.
  • Provide educational information and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries.
  • Support advisory boards and document scientific insights for internal teams.
  • Attend national/local medical congresses to gather insights and strengthen relationships.
  • Deliver cross-functional training on scientific topics for internal teams.
