Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records and strong computer/iPad skills.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and extenders and anticipate needs in patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with keen attention to detail.
• Empathetic to patients' needs and concerns.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must have own transportation and be willing to work in all locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in examination, treatment and documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms and surgical trays.
• Obtain thorough medical histories and medication lists.
• Scribe for providers: document examinations, findings, and plans.
• Assist with examinations, biopsies, Mohs surgery, dressings and suture removals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, expectations and post-op instructions.
• Relay pathology and lab results to patients.
• Answer inquiries from patients, families and other providers.
• Respond to urgent and emergency situations.
