Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant – Mohs for our Rykowski Lane Office. The role supports physicians during medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, records treatments, and ensures smooth patient flow within a dermatology setting.

Candidates should have dermatology and healthcare experience, be computer savvy with EMR and MS Office tools, and be available weekdays and weekends. This position offers a professional environment with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Dermatology or dermatology experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, and procedures.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms and ensure equipment is ready at start of shift.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Monitor inventory and stock supplies.
• Attend training and continued education opportunities.
