Intracoastal Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports providers during patient visits, including consults and procedures, prepares patients for exams, and ensures clean, organized exam rooms with EMR documentation.

Ideal candidates show compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills, and are willing to travel between locations. Dermatology experience is preferred, and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on clinical experience in a dermatologist setting.
• Preferred MA certification or CST license or LPN.
• Ability to travel between locations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering quality care and managing patient visits.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Provide side-by-side assistance with surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean exam rooms.
• Review medical history, maintain patient records in EMR, ensure confidentiality.
• Obtain appropriate consents when necessary; assist with prescriptions and calls; handle admin duties.
