The ideal candidate has Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience, dermatology exposure (training available), and proficiency with EHRs. Responsibilities include assisting with biopsies, managing rooms, and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior dermatology experience strongly preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
• Experience with medical scribing and electronic health records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Scribe in real time during patient visits and document in the EHR.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories.
• Prepare patients and rooms for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with dermatology procedures, including biopsies and excisions.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument setup and breakdown.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Manage prior authorizations, medication refills, and follow-up tasks as needed.
