Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Dahlonega, GA is seeking a motivated Dermatology Medical Assistant to support providers in medical and procedural dermatology. The role involves scribing, patient rooming, vital signs, and assisting with biopsies and excisions in a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate has MA certification and is comfortable with EHRs and sterile techniques; dermatology experience is preferred but training can be provided. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• Dermatology experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Scribe in real time during patient visits and document in the EHR.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, update medical histories.
• Prepare patients and rooms for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers with dermatology procedures including biopsies and excisions.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument setup/cleanup.
• Sterilize and store instruments per protocol.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Manage prior authorizations and medication refills as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
