Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior dermatology experience strongly preferred; training available.
• Experience with medical scribing and electronic health records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Scribe in real time during patient visits and document in the EHR.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update histories.
• Prepare patients and rooms for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers with dermatology procedures, including biopsies and excisions.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument setup.
• Sterilize instruments and store properly.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Manage prior authorizations, refills, and follow‑ups.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure efficient patient flow.
