Job summary

Advanced-Dermatology in Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant/Scribe to support general dermatology clinics in Aurora and Centennial. The role is hourly, with day shifts and a 32–40 hour full-time or 24 hour part-time schedule, Monday through Friday and occasional Saturday hours.

You will document visits, assist with procedures, and manage room readiness and supplies. The position requires high school diploma or GED, and preferred MA/CNA credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certified Nursing Assistant diploma preferred.
• BS in science or biology will be considered.
• Must be proficient with verbal and written communication.
• Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for clinic day and set up exam rooms, devices, and supplies.
• Document visit notes, chief complaints, ROS, history, meds and allergies.
• Enter required forms and perform data entry for vaccines and plans.
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries, injections, and medication preparation.
• Maintain accurate logs for biopsies and testing performed.
• Schedule patient appointments and keep rooms stocked and clean.
• Document all aspects of the patient visit as directed by the doctor.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with HIPAA/OSHA.
