Job summary

Schweiger Bay Shore Office is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support dermatology care with high-quality medical, clinical and clerical tasks. Open to new grads, candidates should be detail oriented, reliable and team oriented while covering a flexible weekday schedule within 7:00am–7:30pm.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, documenting treatments, prepping rooms, managing supplies, and providing patient support with a welcoming,

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare experience or willingness to learn in a medical setting.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR and patient scheduling systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Prepare and stock treatment rooms before and after patients.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, and procedures within guidelines.
• Assist in patient flow and anticipate provider needs during visits.
• Manage inventory and stocking of supplies as requested.
