Job summary

Roswell Park Care Network in Cheektowaga, NY, seeks a team-oriented Medical Assistant for our Dermatology clinic. Primary duties include chart prep, vitals, patient intake, and assisting providers during office hours to ensure prompt and courteous care.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited medical assistant education program.
• High School diploma or GED with at least one year of clinical health care experience.
• Phlebotomy program completion is acceptable.
• Certifications: MA or Phlebotomy license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares charts 24–48 hours prior to appointments.
• Obtain vitals and patient intake as directed.
• Assist providers during office hours to ensure prompt, efficient care.
• Document in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality per clinic policy and laws.
• Stock exam rooms with supplies and maintain sterility.
