Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or within 45 days where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Assists physician/APP with procedures and surgeries.
• Administers routine medications under orders and provides patient instructions.
• Ensures accurate medical records and documentation in real time using EMR.
• Maintains clinic flow and communicates with team to coordinate referrals and tests.
