Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and support dermatologists across several clinic locations. This full-time role involves rooming patients, documenting vital information, scribing for physicians, and providing post-op wound care as part of a fast-paced skin care practice.

Travel to De Pere, Howard, Marinette, Bellevue and Sturgeon Bay is required. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a medical office, and certification as CMA/LPN/RN is preferred; non-certified

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as Mohs surgery, biopsies, excisions, dermabrasion, patch testing.
