Schweiger, a leading dermatology practice, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Freedom and Gilroy offices. The role entails assisting physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring exam rooms are prepped.

Candidates should have healthcare experience, dermatology background preferred, and be proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office. Availability to work weekdays and weekends is required; compensation is $21-$26 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required
• Dermatology experience preferred
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Must be computer savvy with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends

Responsabilités

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures
• Manage provider-to-patient flow and anticipate next steps
• Prep rooms and check equipment before/after shifts
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed
• Monitor inventory and alert Head MA/GM of low supplies
• Attend in-house training and ongoing education
