Schweiger Dermatology Group in Sunnyvale is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to perform clinical, medical and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting. Prior healthcare and dermatology experience is required; EMR proficiency and strong patient interaction skills are essential.

The role offers a 30+ hour schedule, Monday–Friday with flexibility to cover in a team environment. Training provided; competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifikationen

• Dermatology experience is required.
• Healthcare experience is required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems; must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance service quality for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and prior authorizations within guidelines.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms before/after patients and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
