Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Dermatology department in Troy, MI. You will support providers with administrative and clinical tasks, greet patients, record histories, and prepare them for exams in a collaborative clinical setting.

The position requires completion of an MA program (with externship) or equivalent experience, plus BLS-C. Experience with EPIC is a plus, and a strong commitment to compassionate patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program with 160-hour externship (or equivalent clinical externship).
• Optionally, CMA certification with at least 1 year clinical experience, LPN, or EMT with relevant clinical experience.
• Current BLS-C certification at hire or by end of orientation.

Responsabilités

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and patient care.
