Forefront Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant to support dermatologists in a fast-paced clinic in Petersburg, VA. The role includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, scribing for physicians, drawing blood, and helping with post-op care and wound management.

The position requires completion of a medical-support program or certification, and willingness to travel to multiple Forefront locations as needed. Experience in a medical office and EMR proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current state certifications, licenses, or registrations.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-op wound care and draw blood.
• Suture removal, clean and stock exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist dermatologist with procedures (biopsies, excisions, Mohs, phototherapy).
