Qualifications

• 0–3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient histories and update charts prior to visits.
• Assist with dermatology procedures and suture removal as directed.
• Room patients, document visit details, and coordinate with physicians.
• Process prescriptions and manage prior authorizations.
• Log pathology samples and prepare supplies for procedures.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique throughout the day.
• Assist with scribing and completing chart notes as needed.
