Job summary

PhyNet Dermatology LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians with patient care, rooming, history updates, and procedure assistance. The role includes maintaining patient records, scribing, and coordinating pathology storage.

Responsibilities include assisting with biopsies, I&Ds, laser treatments, and Botox, while ensuring sterile techniques and accurate documentation. A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered for candidates with 1+ year of dermatology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document HPI, histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with dermatology procedures (biopsies, I&D, lasers, Botox) and related tasks.
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
• Log pathology samples and coordinate with laboratories.
• Operate equipment such as Narrowband UVB and PDT units.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control.
• Scribe templates and chart notes per physician instructions.
