Responsibilities include administering local anesthesia, maintaining sterile techniques, performing scribing duties, and processing prescriptions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months–3 years medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and update medical histories.
• Document visit details and assist with dermatology procedures.
• Support biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments as needed.
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control practices.
• Perform scribing tasks and input templates/notes as directed.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
