PhyNet Dermatology LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians in patient rooming, history updates, and procedure assistance. The role involves handling biopsies, Botox, lasers, and suturing under supervision, with a focus on accuracy and infection control.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of dermatology experience, strong communication, and reliable attendance. Travel is required to support multiple sites as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Travel is required.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with team to manage up to 40 patients daily.
• Document patient histories, including HPI, medical, surgical, family history, medications, and allergies.
• Prepare and assist with dermatological procedures (biopsies, injections, Botox, lasers).
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control practices.
• Perform scribing: input templates and chart notes.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
• Log pathology samples and coordinate with laboratories.
• Operate specialized equipment (Narrowband UVB, photodynamic therapy).
• Maintain liquid nitrogen supplies.
• Stock and clean examination rooms and supply areas.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
