Job summary

PhyNet Dermatology LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support dermatology physicians with patient rooming, history updates, and procedure assistance. You will participate in biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic treatments, while maintaining sterile technique and accurate charting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years dermatology MA experience, strong EHR skills, and excellent teamwork and communication abilities to thrive in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of medical assistant experience in Dermatology.
• Certification or training in medical assistance preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong EHR skills.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document visit reasons and HPI.
• Update medical, surgical, and family histories; review meds and allergies.
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic procedures (e.g., Botox, lasers).
• Prepare for procedures and administer local anesthesia under physician direction.
• Log pathology orders and transmit to designated laboratories.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control; manage supplies and rooms.
