Alaska Center for Dermatology in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This full-time role supports patient flow, rooms patients, assists in dermatology and cosmetic procedures, and performs phlebotomy and lab duties with EMR scribing on an iPad.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, BLS, and at least one year of outpatient experience. You will thrive in a fast-paced dermatology environment with a collaborative team and a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Certification from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient medical assistant experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medical records.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient flow and rooming.
• Assist in general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, surgery assisting.
• Electronic Medical Record scribing on an iPad, lab duties, and phlebotomy.
• Adaptability and willingness to work with multiple providers.
