Dermatology Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care across our Pennsylvania locations. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, document in the EMR, and educate patients on treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinic efficiency.

Ability to adapt to different providers’ styles, strong communication, and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Assist with patient intake, including history and chief complaints, with accuracy and empathy.
• Document exams and treatment notes in the EMR system.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards in patient care and documentation.
• Complete prior authorizations and medication requests efficiently.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and respond to patient messages within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures.
• Obtain patient information and educate patients on treatment plans.
• Administer local anesthetic and assist with minor procedures.
• Maintain clinical efficiency and uphold core values.
• Support start-of-day and end-of-day clinic tasks.
