Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure high-quality patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, obtain patient histories, and educate patients on treatment plans.

You will document exams in the EMR, follow HIPAA guidelines, and help with scheduling, prior authorizations, and timely patient communication. This position contributes to a positive patient experience across our Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland clinics.

Qualifications

• Support providers and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures.
• Document exams in EMR with accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient intake with history and chief complaints.
• Document exams in EMR to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards in patient care.
• Assist with procedures such as sutures removal and local anesthetic.
• Complete authorizations and medication requests efficiently.
• Schedule follow-up appointments with care and diligence.
• Respond to patient messages within 24 hours.
• Troubleshoot EMR issues and assist with complex procedures.
• Take initiative in start-of-day and end-of-day tasks.
• Adapt to changing circumstances with a growth mindset.
