Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinicians and ensure an efficient, patient-centered experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, rooming, collecting vitals, and assisting with in-office procedures and scribing within the EMR.

The role requires state-registered credentials as applicable, ability to travel to other clinic locations, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain CDT designation within the established timeframe.
• Maintains required state certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, computer, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Maintain confidentiality per privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, document vitals and patient history.
• Assist with scribing and documentation in the EHR during visits.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with in-office procedures.
• Administer medications per state scope and assist with wound care.
• Support with prior authorizations and biologic therapy starts ensuring tracking is in EMR.
