Job summary

Schweiger Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Nutley Office in New Jersey. The MA will support physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, document treatments, and prep rooms.

The role requires healthcare experience and Dermatology exposure, with strong patient communication and team collaboration. The position offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays), with benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, and a 401K plan after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred
• Healthcare experience required
• Proficiency with EMR and scheduling systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Record prescribed treatments, medications and procedures
• Prepare rooms and ensure equipment is ready for each shift
• Manage inventory and stock supplies as requested
• Provide patient instructions and support to care teams
• Maintain smooth patient flow and coordination with providers
