Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures. You will record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures and prior authorizations, while maintaining a smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience and EMR/patient scheduling experience; certification is preferred. The role requires strong communication and customer service, with weekend/weekday availability.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience with EMR and patient scheduling systems.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures within established guidelines.
• Prepare rooms before and after patients, ensuring all equipment works properly.
• Attend to inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
