Job summary

Dermatology & Allergy Specialists of Olympia (DASO) is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. We offer specialty training and potential RMA credentialing for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, history taking, vitals, preparing examinations, assisting with exams, and ensuring clean, ready rooms—all within a supportive, team-focused clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Dermatology experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or willingness to learn.
• Proficient with email, electronic documentation, and basic office software.
• Accurate typing and documentation; able to work in a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and rooming patients with a welcoming, professional experience.
• Obtaining and documenting patient histories and clinical information.
• Obtaining vital signs and measurements as appropriate.
• Preparing patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Assisting providers with dermatologic examinations and in-office procedures.
• Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms and workstations between patients.
• Scheduling appointments and procedures as needed.
• Completing clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care.
