Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology in Suwanee, GA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians and the North Atlanta Dermatology clinic. You will room patients, obtain vital signs, document intake in the EMR, and assist with dermatology procedures.

Travel to Cumming may be required for coverage. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing training in a collaborative, physician-led team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant program completion or certification preferred.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Dermatology experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document intake information in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and support efficient clinic operations.
• Prepare procedure trays, instruments, and equipment and assist providers with dermatology procedures.
• Prepare and route pathology/lab specimens according to insurance requirements.
• Respond to patient questions, clinical task lists, and nurse line messages as directed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
