Schweiger Dermatology Group in Riverdale, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support dermatology providers in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role focuses on high-quality medical, clinical, and clerical tasks with prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, prepping rooms, recording prescribed treatments, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally certified MA preferred.
• Experience using EMR and patient scheduling systems.
• Computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere for patients.
• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, and procedures within guidelines.
• Manage provider-to-patient flow and prep/clean rooms.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions and inventory management.
