Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits and patient flow at our Merrifield location. You will accompany the dermatologist, help maintain a friendly, efficient environment, and ensure accurate documentation and room readiness.

The role requires certified medical training and the ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed. Prior EMR experience, strong multitasking, and solid communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post op wound care and draw blood.
• Suture removal and room cleaning/restocking.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist the dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs, injections, phototherapy, and other dermatology treatments.
