Dermatology Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in a fast-paced dermatology practice across multiple locations in Southern California. You will prepare rooms, collect specimens, document histories, and assist with procedures.

The role requires strong attention to detail, empathy, and reliable transportation to travel between DSI locations as needed. We offer benefits including medical/dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.

Formación

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Mohs surgery or dermatology procedure exposure a plus.
• Experience processing specimens for lab pickup.
• Willingness to travel to other DSI locations as needed (reliable transportation).

Responsabilidades

• Greet and guide patients to exam rooms.
• Prepare, collect, and label lab specimens.
• Document patient histories and exam findings.
• Maintain exam rooms and sanitation.
• Return patient calls and answer questions as directed.
• Provide post-care instructions per provider guidance.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Assist with dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, chemical peels) and support cosmetic services.
