The position is contract-to-hire with a typical 7:45 AM–5:00 PM schedule and onsite work. Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling, authorizations, rooming patients, data entry, and supporting clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience is required.
• Experience in dermatology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and manage incoming calls professionally.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
• Manage prior authorizations for medical procedures.
• Assist in rooming patients and preparing them for consultations.
• Maintain accurate data entry of patient information.
• Support clerical and insurance-related tasks as needed.
• Proficiency in data entry and managing patient information.
• Experience in a busy dermatology or medical office setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), especially EPIC, is preferred.
