Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Somerset and Princeton offices in New Jersey. The role supports physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures and handles clinical and clerical tasks with a focus on patient experience.

Candidates should have healthcare experience; dermatology experience is preferred and CMA certification is desirable. The position requires availability weekdays and weekends, with full-time benefits starting after hire.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures.
• Manage provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms and check equipment at shift start.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions.
• Stock supplies and perform inventory tasks.
