Aurora Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support the dermatology care team in Aurora, IL. The role involves assisting providers, connecting with patients, and maintaining a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience (or certified MA with 2 years’ experience); high school diploma/GED; phlebotomy skills preferred. 32 hours/week, 4 days M-F 8am-5pm with rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
