Aurora Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the ambulatory care team at our Aurora location. You will assist providers, collect vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and help ensure a compassionate, efficient patient experience in a busy setting.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent experience (or a certified MA with 2 years of MA experience) and a High School Diploma or GED; phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or Certified MA with 2 years MA experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Mansioni

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
