Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant with dermatology MOHS experience to support an ambulatory care site in Indianapolis. You will assist the provider with patient visits, procedures, labs, referrals, and quality outcomes while actively participating in network quality initiatives.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent, dermatology certification within 6 months, and strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience in physician practice.
• Dermatology certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Scribe for the provider to document visits.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies for patient use.
• Room patients and manage provider’s caseload flow.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection as needed.
• Document care using the Nextech EMR system.
• Perform point-of-care testing per protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities
