Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Vocational Nurse program.
• Valid CA LVN license required.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• IV/BW (intravenous/blood withdrawal) certification required.
• 1+ year LVN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam/ procedure rooms per patient visit needs.
• Performs nursing intake and prepares patients for examination.
• Reviews medications and documents in the medical record.
• Prepares medical charts and records patient information.
• Coordinates prescribed medications, injections, or IVs per provider.
• Provides basic patient care and vitals, phlebotomy, and related procedures.
• Observes patient condition and notifies provider of changes.
