Formación

• Completion of an accredited Vocational Nurse program.
• CA LVN license required with valid BLS.
• IV/BW (intravenous/blood withdrawal) certification.
• 1+ years LVN experience in outpatient setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up exam rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs.
• Performs initial nursing intake and prepares patients for examination.
• Reviews current medications and documents in the medical record to support the visit.
• Prepares medical chart and records patient information needed for the visit (vital signs, reasons for visit).
• Coordinates prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications as advised by the provider.
• Provides basic patient care and treatments such as taking vitals and performing diagnostic tests.
• Observes patient, documents and reports changes in condition to the provider.
• Maintains patient care flow and responds to messages with provider input.
• Serves as patient advocate and uses resources to support patient care.
• Performs quality assurance and quality control to maintain clinical compliance.
