Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam room/procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs.
• Performs initial nursing intake and prepares patients for examination.
• Prepares patients for examination by reviewing current medications and documents in the medical record.
• Prepares medical chart and records patient information needed for the visit, including vital signs.
• Coordinates prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications per provider guidance.
• Provides basic patient care and treatments such as vitals, diagnostics, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Observes patient, documents, and reports changes in condition to the provider.
• Evaluates nursing intervention outcomes within the LVN scope of practice.
