Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a lab, clinical, or healthcare setting; scribing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with medical/lab software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, labeling, and organizing biopsy specimens.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and disinfect surfaces.
• Support lab technicians in slide preparation and specimen routing.
• Prepare basic reagents and solutions under supervision.
• Log and track samples in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Handle general clerical tasks (e.g., filing, inventory tracking).
• Ensure compliance with safety and HIPAA regulations.
