Elite Dermatology PLLC in Kingwood, TX is seeking a friendly and organized Dermatology Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the practice. You will greet patients, check in, and set a positive tone as the first point of contact.

Responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, answering calls, verifying insurance, maintaining records, and supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Prior healthcare front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist or front desk experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dermatology or specialty practice is a plus.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and scheduling software.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance, co-pays, and patient billing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect payment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed
• Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth daily office operations
